FAQ

FAQFrequently asked questions

School choice, enrolment, stay, visas and fees — the questions parents ask most. If yours is not here, ask an advisor.

Are you a school or an agency?

We work directly with schools. We are not the school. Tuition is paid to the school’s official account. This site does not sell package prices or lock places. We handle school choice, enrolment, stay and on-the-ground coordination. Teaching, safeguarding, offers and grouping stay with the school.

Is a consultation free? Who do I pay?

Consultation is free. Tuition goes to the school’s official account — the same fees as if you applied yourself. Our service fees, if any, are stated separately. Listed prices are the school’s published reference. Flights, visas and insurance are not included. Whether 8% SST applies follows the school invoice.

Which term can we book now?

Consultation is open for 2027 winter camps. 2026 prices are for reference only. 2027 summer dates are not open yet; you can register to be notified. Check each school page for which winter dates already have a published price.

Can I pay on this website?

Not at this stage. After you pick a school and date, send the request by WhatsApp, WeChat or email. An advisor will pass on the school invoice and payment instructions.

Can we still apply if there is no price?

Yes. Pages without a published price say to ask an advisor. Send the child’s age, month of travel and school. We check current places and fees with the school.

What is the difference between an International School Camp and a Language School?

International School Camps usually run in fixed winter or summer weeks and focus on activities and campus life. They are not a formal admission application. Language Schools also run year-round courses for children and adults.

How do we choose a school?

Start with age, city, and day camp vs boarding, then narrow by English level, budget and month of travel to two or three schools. We will say why other schools were set aside. Fields on this site are aligned so you can compare.

Which cities do you cover?

Schools we list are mainly in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru, Putrajaya, Kota Kinabalu and Negeri Sembilan. Use Browse by City on the School List.

What ages can join? Are there camps for ages 3–4?

Ages 5–12 have the most options. Full-day camps for ages 3–4 are few and depend on each school’s intake age. Ages 16–18 and adults are mostly Language Schools.

Is it okay if our English is not strong?

Yes. Language Schools usually place students by level. Most International School Camps group by age and focus on activities. Two weeks will not transform English. We do not promise results; we help you pick a suitable setting.

Is the share of Chinese students high?

It changes by term. We only share figures we can source: nationality mix published by the school, or what we saw last term. If you want less Mandarin on site, look first at schools that are international-majority or stream by English level.

Who are the teachers?

We follow the school’s published wording and add a source when we can. British-curriculum schools often say UK-qualified or English-medium. “Native English” is not the same as a count of Western teachers.

Are meals included?

Most International School Camps include lunch and snacks, not breakfast. Language-school meals are usually extra. Check the school page and the school’s current note.

What about accommodation?

Typical options are school dorms, family apartments, homestay and short-stay hotels. Advisors suggest 3–5 options by start date, with distance and commute. You can also book the course only and arrange stay yourself.

Do parents need to come?

For younger day camps, yes — apartments near Mont Kiara in Kuala Lumpur or Tanjung Bungah in Penang are common. For full boarding camps, parents can drop off and collect on the start and end dates.

Who is responsible for safety?

The school is responsible for safeguarding on campus. We brief you before travel and relay messages during the camp. Children about 8 and under are usually in day camp with a parent nearby.

How long is a camp?

International School Camps are often one or two weeks; some schools offer a longer combined block. Language Schools can be booked by the week. If one school shows several prices, read the duration and start date on that page, not just the amount.

How soon is a place confirmed? Can we change dates or get a refund?

Schools usually issue a receipt or confirmation within 1–5 working days after they receive payment, then a joining note before camp. Date changes, refunds and extra places follow that school’s policy. We submit the request and follow up.

What is not in the quoted fee?

Flights, insurance, visas and our service fee are not included. The school invoice is final. Pocket money, weekend trips and deposits follow the school’s note.

Do we need a visa for Malaysia?

Most winter and summer camps last one or two weeks, so the stays below usually cover a camp. Entry must be for a short social or tourist visit, not study or work. Rules change. Check Malaysian Immigration and your own government before you fly. We do not process visas on this site.

Mainland China ordinary passport: visa-free, up to 30 days per entry, and not more than 90 days in any 180 days. The Malaysia–China visa waiver took effect on 17 July 2025.
Hong Kong SAR passport: visa-free, up to 90 days.
Republic of Korea passport: visa-free, up to 90 days.
Japan passport: visa-free, up to 90 days.
United States passport: visa-free, up to 90 days.

Complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) within 3 days before arrival. Passports should usually be valid for at least 6 months. Keep a return or onward ticket. Stays longer than the limits above need the correct visa in advance.

What if a child falls ill at camp?

Follow the school nurse or duty teacher first. Parents or the advisor then coordinate with the school. Bring routine medicine and insurance details. Insurance is not part of tuition.

Can one child join two schools or two sessions?

Yes, if dates and ages fit. We will space start dates and stay so you are not crossing town on the same day.

Do places run out?

Busy weeks do. This site does not hold a place. If you want a specific week, send the age and dates so we can check remaining seats with the school.

How do we reach you?

WhatsApp first, or scan to add WeChat, or email admin@campapac.com. Phone numbers are not listed on the site. Weekdays: reply within 4 hours. Saturday, Sunday and public holidays: within 24 hours.

What are your office hours?

Monday to Friday 09:00–20:00. We are not in the office on Saturday, Sunday and public holidays; messages still get a reply within 24 hours.
